On
a grid, far far away, a Menacing Menace has infiltrated all that is
good and descent.
Good folk use to live on the Grid. It was a place
where little data packets could run around and let their little one
byte brains be either
on or off. Running onto path ways unknown and always turning the “right” way.
But things have changed. Bad data are running riot and Hackers reign
supreme.
There are two types of hackers on the grid, or as the data folk call
them, Good Mojo and Bad Mojo.
Good Mojo fight for what is right and they are known as the protectors
of the Data. Some Data folk don't like them and argue that they would
not even be here if it was not for the Bad Mojo. Either way, they
are the only thing that stand in the way of Bad Mojo.
Bad Mojo have no place in decent society. On the grid, you don't even
mention their name. To many, Data have gone to the recycle bin because
of them. If Bad Mojo are a disease, then Good Mojo are the cure.
Not all Data on the grid are descent. Bad data also live on the grid,
and are the byproduct of some large multi-Billion dollar company
who's unscrupulous business practices are just as corrupt as the
bugs in their over expensive software. But that is a another story
for another time.
Bad Data used to be good, but there is only so much that good Data
can take before they crack. Bad data can effortlessly convert good
Data to the dark side and corrupt their little one byte mind. With
your arsenal of super duper hi-impact Tools, you can save them and
stop them from spreading through your gateways.
Viruses are notorious trouble makers. They don't have the power to
destroy, but they do have the power to annoy. Viruses confuse Data
Packets and make them behave in an unpredictable manner. Usually,
after Data has had a run in with a Virus, they feel pretty stupid
about the way they behaved. You should see these two at Christmas
party's.
A new hope has arrived and it just so happens that it is you! Now isn't
that convenient?
Only you can bring order to the Grid and guide the
little suicidal Data packets to their doom, err.. I mean safety.
May your CPU have mercy on your l33t skilz!
